Théâtre Saint-Lô > "Veranda + Nicolas Cloche"

Join us on November 22 at 8:30pm at the Saint-Lô theater for the show "Veranda".

Veranda is a collaboration between actress and musician Catherine-Audrey Lachapelle and multi-instrumentalist Léandre Joly-Pelletier. The two young Quebec artists come from very different spheres, and that's what makes their work so rich.
Veranda is a perfect blend of influences, skilfully combining bluegrass, folk and country. The duo navigates beautifully between simplicity and virtuosity, offering rich melodies enhanced by refined harmonic work, mainly in French, which is what makes them so original. Imagine a remote spot, a bucolic cabin in the woods, in front of which Dolly Parton, Ralph Stanley and Emmylou Harris are quietly rocking. Veranda is it!

"By taking up the challenge of doing bluegrass in French, the duo Veranda do not miss their target. Their sound is undeniably straightforward. No tricks, just well-grounded acoustic instruments, solid melodies and captivating stories. Le Soleil
