Théâtre Saint-Lô > "Et la mer s'est mise à brûler"

Join us on March 18 at 8:30 pm at the Saint-Lô theater for the show "Et la mer s'est mise à brûler" with the "UNA" company.

A luminous tale, between the search for roots and the casting off of moorings.
Sido and Rémi had never planned to meet, but the funeral of their father, lost at sea, brings them together on an island. Can the bond of blood bring together two people whose realities oppose them?
One lived with his father, the other never knew him. The two half-brothers embark on a strange adventure: in the midst of adolescence, between fantasy and memory, they confront each other, wound each other and heal their scars.
Like two boxers embracing in the third round, they become one with their father?s ghost, and in so doing, distance themselves from childhood.
From one circus apparatus to the next, emotions are expressed at their very core.
Acrobat/director Valia Beauvieux and scriptwriter Pierre Le Gall pen an acrobatic tale of sibling bonding, mourning and the pitfalls of manhood at an age when fears, hearts and emotions are locked away.
